MEDICAL ASSISTANT/PHLEBOTOMIST

Full-Time Position available in the Gunbarrel Road area.

Individual must assess our patients’ needs efficiently and be willing to provide consistent, quality and courteous care. 

 Duties include patient care and vital signs, preparation of exam rooms, instrument sterilization, assist with minor surgery procedures, Phlebotomy, Vaccination of patients, Scheduling, Pre-certification.

  Medical Assistant certification required, 1 year Phlebotomy, 3 years Internal Medicine or Family Practice experience necessary.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

  Medical Assistant certification required, 1 year Pediatric experience necessary.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Part-Time Position available in the Downtown area. Hours will be Monday-Thursday 3 p.m.– 8 p.m.

Duties include: performing comprehensive physical examinations including health history, interpret and order medical data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed, perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, manage infection, prepare appropriate written prescription orders in accordance with DEA guidelines in dispensing or prescribing medication as necessary to treat patient’s medical needs, develop and monitor patient management plans, progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care. Perform all duties in compliance with Galen clinical policies and OSHA standards.

Must maintain and have a current Tennessee license as a Nurse Practitioner, Current ACLS and CPR/BLS certification required, 3 years FNP experience necessary, and 1 year GI experience a plus.
